GL AP Accounting Consultant

A company is looking for a GL / AP Accounting Consultant (Contractor).

Key Responsibilities

Lead month-end and year-end financial close processes, ensuring accurate reconciliations and journal entries

Manage offshore accounts payable processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams for compliance and efficiency

Support financial systems implementation and process enhancements to improve accounting workflows

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related discipline; CPA or equivalent preferred

8+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in biotech or life sciences

Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting operations, including payables and general ledger

Hands-on experience with financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, Coupa) and SOX compliance

Advanced Excel skills and strong project management abilities
