About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

License : Compact or state license required

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIH

Must-Have :

1 year of experience preferred

Experience with patient population from adults to geriatrics

BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications

Description :

Provide care for patients with potential MS, MS Tele, and PCU diagnoses.

Float between all MS, MS / Tele, and PCU units as required.

Demonstrate proficiency in Epic charting system.

Manage patient ratios of 1 : 4-5 in PCU and 1 : 5-6 in MS, MS Tele.

Provide comprehensive nursing care and intervention to patients.

Administer medications and manage IV therapies.

Implement and follow isolation precautions as necessary.

Carry out advanced procedures such as arterial line management and care of ventilated patients.

Interpret dysrhythmias and manage cardiac and vasoactive drips.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient support services.

Be available to work major holidays as required during the assignment.

Participate in continuing education and skill development activities.
