We are looking for a detail-oriented Loan Servicing Support specialist to join our team in Woodbridge, New Jersey. This Contract position is ideal for candidates with extensive experience in loan servicing, particularly within commercial or residential lending. The role requires a strong ability to interpret loan documentation, manage customer inquiries, and ensure the accuracy of loan portfolio updates.

Responsibilities :

• Reviewing and interpreting loan documents to ensure precision and compliance.
• Managing various lending support tasks.
• Addressing debtor concerns and resolving discrepancies associated with payments.
• Supervising the monthly billing process.
• Managing payment activities such as processing transactions, payoffs, and adjustments.
• Facilitating changes to loans, including extensions, interest modifications, transfers of borrowers, and verifying credit committee or loan officer approvals.
• Maintaining up-to-date financial profiles by verifying loan data and ensuring accuracy.
• Investigating and correcting financial transaction errors as necessary to address discrepancies.
• Building strong relationships with clients to provide an excellent servicing experience and resolve inquiries effectively.
• At least 5 years of experience in loan servicing, processing, and support.
• Background in either commercial or residential lending.
• Proficiency in interpreting and analyzing loan documentation.
