Human Resources Assistant

We are looking for a Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in Seattle, Washington. In this role, you will provide comprehensive support to HR operations, ensuring seamless administrative processes and delivering excellent service to employees. This is a long-term contract position, offering the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Accurately input new employee information into the Workday system and maintain updated personnel records.
  • Address employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and general questions with clarity and professionalism.
  • Perform daily administrative tasks to support HR operations, ensuring smooth workflows and efficiency.
  • Provide interim assistance to cover responsibilities during team transitions and while recruiting for a team member.
  • Uphold confidentiality and precision when managing sensitive employee information.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance HR processes and improve overall service delivery.
  • Support onboarding activities, including background checks and documentation management.
  • Assist in maintaining and optimizing HRIS systems to ensure accurate data tracking and reporting.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to employees by responding promptly and effectively to their needs.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment by demonstrating strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Requirements :

  • Proven experience in HR administration or a similar role, demonstrating familiarity with HR operations.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, with Workday experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in administrative processes.
  • Ability to handle sensitive employee information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively address employee inquiries and collaborate with team members.
  • Capability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset, dedicated to providing responsive and helpful support.
  • Knowledge of onboarding processes, background checks, and employee relations.
