Registered Nurse - Cardiology Stress Testing

Embrace a fulfilling career where you can positively impact your community while contributing innovative practices to improve patient care nationwide.\n\nIn this position, you will collaborate with the Echocardiology and Nuclear Departments to ensure safe and efficient patient coordination throughout testing areas. You will assist in supervising licensed clinical staff to ensure compliance with company policies, state and federal regulations, and best practices.\n\nPrimary Responsibilities : \n

• Administer IV medications for testing purposes.\n
• Provide direct patient care during Cardiac Stress tests and echocardiographic procedures, ensuring patient safety.\n
• Ensure continuity of care for favorable testing outcomes.\n
• Communicate with the Cardiologist and RN Supervisor / Manager regarding any issues or adverse events during testing.\n
• Monitor patient's 12-lead EKG rhythms and vital signs during testing and the immediate recovery period.\n
• Deliver direct patient care before and after cardiovascular procedures.\n
• Adhere to state and federal regulations, standards of practice, and organizational policies.\n\nWe value your contributions and will recognize your performance in a challenging environment, providing clear guidance for success and opportunities for growth.\n\nRequired Qualifications : \n
• Current unrestricted RN license in the state of Nevada.\n
• CPR / BLS certification.\n
• 3+ years of relevant nursing experience, ideally in critical care, ICU, ER, or Cardiology.\n
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).\n\nPreferred Qualifications : \n
• ACLS certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire.\n
• 1+ years of acute Cardiology experience.\n
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).\n
• In-depth knowledge of professional nursing theory, regulations, and patient care evaluation.\n
• Demonstrated strong customer service and communication abilities.\n
• Skillful in performing cardiology assessments, invasive procedures, and emergency care.\n
• Critical thinking capabilities during complex diagnostic testing procedures.\n
