Forklift Operator II

Job Title

Responsibilities

Move, loads and unload materials

Responsible for safety, equipment inspections and possibly assisting with repairs

Be expected to assist other crafts in their down times which may include non-operating activities

Perform daily pre- and post-shift inspections of all equipment to be used to ensure its safely operable

Load finished bale product onto incoming trailers for shipment

Communicate with staff on mechanical and operational issues

Perform general ground maintenance, as needed

Qualifications

Will be responsible for all safety aspects of operating equipment

Must have knowledge and 6 months experience in operating forklifts

Must have basic mechanical knowledge to inspect equipment

Must be able to follow instructions

Must follow all safety regulations

May be required to lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs
