We are looking for a dedicated Program Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Richmond, California. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and delivering projects efficiently while ensuring objectives are met within the established timelines. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate resources, monitor progress, and implement adjustments as needed to achieve successful outcomes. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to oversee budgets, personnel, and equipment to optimize project execution.
Responsibilities :
- Track and manage contract budgets and expenditures, including preparing reports and handling administrative tasks related to financial oversight.
- Address project challenges proactively, resolving issues to maintain progress and ensure successful delivery.
- Collaborate with organizational leadership and staff to develop strategies for improving grants administration processes.
- Assist in overseeing grants administration, ensuring compliance with operational and financial guidelines.
- Provide support with invoicing, accounting, reporting, and other administrative duties to facilitate smooth grant execution.
- Monitor and maintain documentation related to grant-funded programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Identify potential risks within projects and implement mitigation strategies to keep initiatives on track.
- Develop and maintain project timelines, adjusting schedules as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Offer guidance on optimal utilization of resources, including personnel, budgets, and equipment.
- Analyze data and performance metrics to improve project outcomes and efficiency.
- Degree in Business or Public Health is highly desired
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in program or project management roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage files, scan documents, and maintain accurate records.
- Experience in budget administration and financial tracking.
- Ability to enter purchase orders and monitor expenditures effectively.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing timelines and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Solid analytical skills for data analysis and problem-solving.
- Excellent customer service abilities and communication skills.
