A dental clinic in North Carolina is seeking a locum tenens Dentist specializing in General Dentistry for a 48-day assignment starting on 12 / 01 / 2025. The ideal candidate will work 8.5-hour shifts Monday through Wednesday, with an 8-hour shift on Thursday. This opportunity involves handling general outpatient dentistry cases for both scheduled and walk-in patients, with a mix of adult and pediatric cases. The provider will be responsible for 10-20 cases per shift, including exams, hygiene checks, fillings, crowns, and extractions. Job Responsibilities and Duties :

• Perform general outpatient dentistry procedures for scheduled and walk-in patients
• Handle 10-20 cases per shift
• Conduct exams and hygiene checks
• Perform fillings and crown procedures
• Carry out simple extractions and surgical / complex extractions
• Treat a patient population consisting of 90% adults and 10% children (3 years and older)
• Work with a diverse patient base, including 25% Medicare patients
• Maintain high standards of patient care and satisfaction
• Collaborate effectively with dental clinic staff and other healthcare professionals
• Adhere to all clinic policies, procedures, and safety protocols
