Learning Space Technician

Summary Of Position

Support the effective use of teaching and learning technologies at the UNH School of Law primarily by supporting faculty staff and students in learning spaces. This person is responsible for the selection of technology the oversight of projects to install technology the troubleshooting and maintenance of the technology asset management / inventory and some training of its use. This person also provides support and execution of special events. Additional support includes digital signage and Tier 1 support for IT / instructional technology tools. Work under general supervision of UNH Leaning Space Technologies Manager and in close coordination with UNH LST Technical Services Manager while maintaining autonomy to execute support of the UNH School of Laws IT needs.

Other Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree and four years of experience in information technology field. Experience with audiovisual presentation technology. Experience troubleshooting digital audiovisual systems. Strong organizational skills and effective oral and written communication skills.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a Higher Education Information Technology department. Audiovisual Network Project management skills. Experience with Crestron Control / electronics. Customer service experience. ITSM methodology experience and AVIXA CTS Certification.
