What to Expect

The Senior Counsel is responsible to facilitate Hyundai Capital America (HCA) business transactions by providing legal support and advice to in-house clients on a variety of corporate and commercial transactions. Responsibilities include providing legal advice and guidance in connection with business projects, strategic initiatives and product development. In addition, transactional work may include collaboration activities with our OEMs and other strategic transactions. The Senior Counsel will also coordinate and liaise with outside counsel, as needed, on complex business contracts and projects.

What You Will Do

Provide transactional legal support to support strategic initiatives and new product launches, including negotiating, drafting, and / or reviewing a wide variety of corporate and commercial agreements, including software as a service, rental, equipment lease, licensing, marketing and product or service agreements relevant to HCA business needs.

Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing and walking, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in an office environment.

The posted salary range for this job takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. Successful candidates may be hired anywhere in the salary range based on these factors. It is uncommon to hire candidates at or near the top of the range.
