Apex Systems has an immediate opening available for a Program Manager with one of our clients who provides electronics solutions for the food and beverage industry in the San Diego area. The Program Manager will provide executive leadership to orchestrate the end-to-end product development lifecycle for a major new launch. This role is responsible for de-risking, governance, and ensuring readiness across hardware and SaaS streams, including post-launch brand approvals. Location : Hybrid in Carlsbad, CA

Duration :  12+ Month Contract to Permanent Hire

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full program lifecycle for a new AI solution, from development through launch and brand approvals
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (Engineering, Operations, Sales, Support, Manufacturing)
• Oversee program planning, RAID management, and stakeholder governance
• Ensure all dependencies, risks, and timelines are tracked and communicated
• Support supply chain / vendor coordination and site readiness / change management as needed
• Use Agile / SAFe methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence) as appropriate
• Facilitate approvals with major Quick-Service Restaurant brands post-launch (3–6 months process)
