Job Opportunity : Obstetrics Hospitalist Physician

Join a dynamic team in Fresno, California, at a supportive Level 2 NICU hospital. This facility is dedicated to providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care, utilizing advanced EPIC electronic medical records. Be part of a multidisciplinary team committed to exceptional patient outcomes while delivering high-quality obstetrical care.

Job Responsibilities :

• Provide expert inpatient obstetrical care in a busy hospital setting.
• Care for approximately 13-14 patients daily in inpatient, outpatient, rounds, and clinic settings.
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records for patient documentation and care management.
• Work a schedule of five to six 24-hour shifts per month from 7 AM to 7 AM.
• Participate in weekend shifts with the same schedule as weekdays.
• Handle an average of 4-5 deliveries per 24-hour period, primarily vaginal deliveries with 25% C-sections.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Ensure compliance with facility requirements, including COVID-19 vaccination.
• Complete initial and secondary interviews virtually using platforms such as Teams or Zoom.
