EMT Technician - Fire & Safety

Job Description :

As an EMT- Fire & Safety Technician, here's the work you'll do :

• Performs independent daily safety walk-throughs of production, support services and maintenance shops - identifying safety issues and taking appropriate actions (seeking approval of Safety Manager as needed), ensuring compliance with SOPs, OSHA, and DoD Safety regulations.
• Plans and conduct fire and tornado drills along with other Safety training to include CPR / First Aid Training. Prepares and coordinates Fire Prevention Week activities.
• Performs monthly fire extinguisher inspections plant wide, assuring compliance.
• First Responder for all alarms and emergency calls. Administers emergency medical care at scene of emergency and while transporting to medical facility in accordance with basic EMT standard of care and authorized protocols.
• Knowledgeable about all practices and methods regarding training and job performance in accordance with NFPA and OSHA Standards.
• Perform medical duties including new hire and annual physicals, drug screening and assessments.

In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the wage range for this role is $47,040 - $70,560 . This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements)
