Job descriptionConduct thorough inspections of damaged properties to assess restoration needs. Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for insurance claims using industry-standard software. Collaborate with insurance adjusters to facilitate the claims process. Communicate effectively with clients to explain estimates and restoration processes. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in insurance policies. Provide exceptional customer service throughout the estimation and claims process. Document all findings and maintain organized records for each project. Assist in training and mentoring junior estimators as needed. Proven experience as an insurance estimator in the restoration industry. Strong knowledge of Xactimate or similar estimating software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Certification in restoration or insurance estimating is a plus. Positive attitude and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
