Job descriptionPatient Demographics : Adults and adolescents (13 years and older) Patient Volume / Census : TBD Case Mix : All types of surgical cases EMR System : Epic Specialty Backup Available : CRNA support available Support Staff Available : CRNAs Reason for Coverage : Full-time coverage need Hospital Privileges Required : Yes Credentialing Timeline : days Rate : TBD Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance General anesthesiology procedures Regional anesthesia skills preferred but not required Licenses : Active California medical license required Certifications : Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Anesthesiology, DEA with CA Schedule 2 / 2N, BLS, ACLS (AHA required) Experience : Minimum 2 years of anesthesiology experience required Other Qualifications : Must provide 2 references; must be available for interview process (1 2 interviews) Provide anesthesiology services in hospital operating rooms Collaborate with CRNAs and surgical staff to ensure patient safety Perform general and, if capable, regional anesthesia procedures Complete documentation in Epic EMR Deliver care to adult and adolescent patients during surgical procedures
