The RN will coordinate and deliver quality general and psychiatric nursing care to patients hospitalized for treatment of substance abuse, dual diagnosis, or psychiatric or emotional disorders. The RN will assume direct responsibility for observation, delegation, and leadership of the unit staff and patients. The RN will serve actively and constructively as a member of the multi-disciplinary team, supporting the organization, program, and unit philosophy of care. The RN will ensure the safety and well-being of each patient. The RN ensures all medical orders are followed, initiates and follows treatment planning, and acts as a patient advocate at all times.\nWhat we offer : \nFundamental to providing great care is supporting and rewarding our team. • Professional development and growth opportunities\nQualifications and requirements : \nCurrent unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing, valid driver's license preferred.\nGraduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required.\nPrevious experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred.\nAdditional requirements include : \nMay be required to work flexible hours.\nCPR certification and De-esclation certified within 30 days.\nCottonwood Springs, part of Lifepoint Behavioral Health, specializes in compassionate behavioral health services, including crisis stabilization, inpatient care, and outpatient treatment for acute mental health and substance use treatment.
