OrthoVirginia Christiansburg is seeking a Full Time Certified Hand Therapist or a Occupational Therapist with Hand Therapy experience seeking their CHT to provide quality, comprehensive care in our busy outpatient clinic.

Position Summary :

Provide efficient, quality-oriented therapy patient care through an individualized program, including assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, a home exercise program, education, and communication to maximize the patient's progress toward achieving functional goals.

Responsibilities and Duties :

  • Knowledge and understanding of all clinic policies / procedures, culture, and organizational structure.
  • Ability to demonstrate superior clinical outcomes, patient customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Must have the ability to be mentored and receptive to training processes.
  • Conveys a professional image and attitude.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to identify and implement components of the physical therapy process.
  • Identify learning needs and teach patients and families.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with a variety of teams and individuals.
  • Working knowledge and ability to apply professional standards of practice in job situations.
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
  • Strong customer service.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
  • Working knowledge of personal computer and software applications used in job functions.

    • Qualifications and Skills :

  • Bachelors, Masters or Doctoral degree in Occupational or Physical Therapy as evidenced by college diploma.
  • Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an Occupational / Physical Therapist in the state employed.
  • Open to active / pending state board licensures and those sitting for their board exam in the next six months.
