Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details : \n

  • Work day shifts from 6 : 45 AM to 5 : 15 PM with on-call requirements

    • \n

  • Guaranteed 72 hours bi-weekly (96 bi-weekly not available)

    • \n

  • 13-week assignment with urgent start needed

    • \n

  • Maximum 2 days of requested time off allowed

    • \n

  • Required to have RTO blackout dates or required holidays

    • \n

  • Circulate in Open Heart and General surgical cases

    • \n

  • Responsible for room turnover, stocking supplies, and taking call

    • \n

  • Work with various surgical specialties including Ortho, Neuro, DaVinci Robot, General, Gyn, and Podiatry

    • \n

  • Patient ratio varies throughout the day

    • \n

  • 12-bed unit capacity

    • \n

  • 5-day orientation provided

    • \n

  • Blue scrubs provided on-site through Scrubex

    • \n

  • EMR system : Cerner

    • \n

  • Required certifications : ACLS, BLS

    • \n

  • Indiana RN licensure required

    • \n

  • Open Heart experience required

    • \n

  • Minimum 2 years of OR experience required

    • \n

  • No floating to other units required

    • \n

  • Block scheduling not available

    • \n

  • Must be greater than 50 miles from facility (local candidates not accepted)

    This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive surgical department with a 12-bed operating room unit that handles a wide range of surgical procedures. The facility specializes in open heart surgery along with orthopedic, neurological, robotic-assisted, general, gynecological, and podiatry procedures. The organization maintains modern equipment including DaVinci robotic surgery systems and uses Cerner EMR technology to support quality patient care and efficient workflow management.
