Position Summary

We are seeking a licensed, compassionate Funeral Director to coordinate and oversee funeral services and aftercare. You will guide families through arrangements, direct services, manage logistics, and ensure compliance with state regulations while delivering dignified, attentive care.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with families to discuss funeral, memorial, and burial / cremation options and prepare detailed arrangements
• Coordinate and direct funeral, memorial services, visitations, and graveside services
• Handle documentation and regulatory compliance (death certificates, permits, cemetery forms)
• Supervise or perform preparation of remains (embalming if licensed / required), dressing, and cosmetology as needed
• Coordinate with clergy, cemeteries, crematories, florists, and other service providers
• Provide bereavement support and referrals to families
• Maintain accurate records, funeral home facilities, and equipment
• Participate in on-call rotation, including nights / weekends and holiday coverage
• Train and mentor support staff and apprentices as needed
