People's Health Centers (PHC), through its mission, provides comprehensive primary healthcare, such as pediatrics, internal medicine, OB / GYN, dental, mammography, behavioral health, pharmacy, WIC, radiology, podiatry and laboratory services, to meet the health needs of the entire community. PHC provides quality health care and social services to thousands of uninsured and medically underserved people in the St. Louis community.

People's Health Centers also offers an open access clinic (no appointment necessary), client centered cluster visits, community health education, nursing, mobile van outreach, school-linked services and prevention health services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Analyzes dental needs of the community to determine changes and trends in patterns of dental disease. Delivers services to School Based Programs as defined by the health center. Instructs community, school and other groups on preventive oral health care services. Produces and evaluates dental health educational materials. Provides clinical and laboratory dental care and services for all patients ranging from child through adult. Make oral health assessments, perform sealant application, teaching patients preventative care, provide follow-up care, perform x-rays and fillings, maintain oral health standards, assist with program evaluation. Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; or one to two years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Graduate of an accredited school of dentistry.
