Opportunity : Looking for a Locum Hematology-Oncology Physician to provide coverage at two locations Inpatient consultative services across 2 hospitals 10 miles apart Dates of coverage : 1 week (7 days Mon-Sun) per month from January through July Patient population : Adult and Geriatric Practice distribution : 49% hematology, 51% oncology 5.6 physicians in the practice Radiation Oncologist available at EHT Cancer Center for case discussions 8 APPs providing coverage - Monday to Friday, an inpatient NP will assist the MD with notes, orders, and staff communication Average outpatient (clinic / office) patient load : 45 per day Average hospital patient load : 8 per day (5 consults, 3 follow-ups) Clinical areas : Oncology and Hematology in an inpatient setting Hospital trauma level : Atlantic City - Level 1 EMR system : Cerner Required procedures : Inpatient consultative services Compensation : Competitive weekly pay and malpractice included
