Position : Automation Mechanical Engineer

Location : Huntsville, AL

DeSHAZO provides various companies with engineered solutions that help to improve the quality or productivity of an existing manufacturing / assembly process. Their engineering teams visit customer sites, observe manufacturing processes and prepare a 3-D conceptual design of the equipment or system to meet client's requirements. Their engineering teams design, build, and install one work cell or a complete automation system in various facilities. They focus on automated systems for manufacturing environments with processes such as assembly, testing / inspection, material handling, welding, equipment control, and robotic vision and packaging systems. Most of their customers work in heavy manufacturing or automotive industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering preferred, but willing to look at anyone that has machine design experience with or without a degree
• Machine design (minimum of 5 years) preferably with an automation / robot integrator.
• 3D design; Solidworks preferred (Solidworks macro knowledge would be a plus)
• Mechanical aptitude when dealing with machined parts, problem solving, and ability to be hands-on if needed. Understand tolerances and equipment assembly and fit up.
• Ability to work without being managed / task oriented / self-starter
• Have project management experience
