Job descriptionAssess, plan, implement, and evaluate all aspects of patient care within RN scope of practice. Educate patients based on individual needs. Transcribe, utilize, and implement protocols and physician orders. Coordinate healthcare team efforts and delegate tasks to ancillary personnel. Perform other duties as assigned. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Previous hospital experience preferred. Must hold a current, valid RN license in Wyoming and be in good standing with the Board of Nursing. Must have current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain within 60 days of hire, and maintain throughout employment. Must have current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or obtain within six months if taking call or administering conscious sedation; must maintain throughout employment. CNOR certification preferred. Complete required CEUs annually. Exhibit excellent customer service skills (friendly, tactful, patient, empathetic, professional). Communicate effectively verbally and in writing with staff, managers, and the public. Demonstrate effective listening skills. Possess strong organizational and time management abilities; prioritize tasks efficiently. Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills. Work effectively without immediate supervision. Ability to learn new computer software programs. Recognize and protect confidential information. Uphold ethical and legal accountability in the role. Rotating shift schedule. Specialty areas may include CT Technologist, Operating Room / Circulate, Radiologic Technologist.
