Mainframe zOS System Engineer

Mainframe z / OS Systems Programmer to support their States Consolidated Data Center Services (DCS) with mainframe system administration and end user support. Ideal candidates will be Senior-level Mainframe Programmers with extensive experience and knowledge of z / OS . While z / OS is an older IBM technology (25 years) it is still commonly used in banking insurance oil and gas and large gov agencies so candidates with this specific mainframe background will likely be the ideal candidates for this role (O&G and / or gov experience strongly preferred).

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) :

• Administer and support z / OS systems including upgrades maintenance break / fix tasks and OS-level configurations.
• Manage mainframe subsystems and middleware such as CICS IMS SCLM and related ISV tools like BlueZone.
• Monitor performance and lead cross-functional coordination for capacity planning tuning and DCS-integrated operations.
