Job description

Local Contract Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)

Location : Rio Rancho, NM

Facility : Long-Term Care Facility

Pay rate : $20 / hr (6p - 6 : 30a) Thur Fri & Sat

We are currently seeking a dedicated Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our team for a Local Contract assignments (3 weeks). If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and enjoy working in a caring, team-oriented setting, we would love to meet you!

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and mobility.
  • Provide personal care and comfort for residents according to their individualized care plans.
  • Assist with monitoring residents' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
  • Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in resident condition.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding when necessary.
  • Support residents' social needs and help foster a positive, engaging environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Qualifications :

  • Current, active certification as a Nurse Assistant (CNA) in the state of New Mexico.
  • Previous 2yrs experience in long-term care or hospital setting
  • BLS - American Heart Association
  • Proof of Immunizations (MMR, Varicella, TDAP, HepB)
  • Current TB Skin Test or Chest X-ray
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
  • Ability to assist residents with mobility and transfers.
