About The Position

Job Title : CT Tech Traveler (36 Hours / Week)

Location : Dallas Regional Medical Center Texas

Position Summary :

Dallas Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 36-hour per week travel assignment . The CT Tech performs both computed tomography and general radiographic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. This role requires dual certification in Radiography and CT and a strong understanding of imaging safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform CT and diagnostic X-ray exams in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.

Operate and maintain CT and general radiography equipment safely and effectively.

Prepare and position patients to ensure high-quality images while minimizing radiation exposure.

Establish and maintain IV access for contrast media administration as required.

Evaluate images for diagnostic quality prior to submission to PACS.

Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and imaging systems.

Comply with all federal, state, and hospital regulations related to radiation safety and patient care.

Assist with quality control, equipment checks, and inventory management in the imaging department.

Qualifications (Legally Required) :

Active ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required

Texas Medical Board MRT License required

BLS (AHA) certification required

Venipuncture competency required for IV contrast procedures

Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program required

Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care CT and radiography experience required per company policy

Assignment Details :

Type : Travel / Contract (13 weeks)

Hours : 36 hours per week

Schedule : Variable shifts; may include weekends and holidays

Setting : Imaging Services / Radiology Department
