Job descriptionBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA preferred. 5-7 years of relevant fund accounting experience. Strong knowledge of reconciliation and account analysis; Strong analytical skills and ability to understand and resolve complex problems; Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Experience with Geneva and / or Geneva World Investor, accounting systems and Markit WSO (notice portal) is a plus.
Manager, Fund Accounting [ Growth Oriented]
Responsibilities
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for supporting the accounting and operations for one of the company's business development companies within its Global Private Debt Strategy.
Responsibilities will include :
- Resolving cash reconciliation items;
- Reviewing daily transaction postings;
- Recording of monthly closing accruals;
- Calculating management and incentive fees;
- Reviewing and reconciling capital activities and statements maintained by the transfer agent :
- Preparation of monthly fund reporting and performance metrics;
- Coordinating with independent auditors, custodians, and transfer agents;
- Assist in the production of monthly and quarterly reporting for leverage facilities;
- Reviewing quarterly and annual 10-Q and 10-K SEC filings;
- Participate in projects and continuous process improvements for key deliverables; and
- Performing other tasks as required.
