Join our team and help make our community feel like home! The EVS Housekeeping & Laundry Manager leads our housekeeping and laundry teams to keep our community clean, safe, and welcoming for residents, families, and staff. You’ll make sure we meet all safety and cleanliness standards while creating a warm, caring environment where residents can thrive.
Primary Responsibilities :
Hire, train, and supervise laundry and housekeeping team members.Develop work schedules and assign duties to ensure coverage and efficiency.Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback for team member development.Address any staffing concerns or conflicts.Handle payroll for the department.Oversee daily laundry operations.Manage inventory of laundry supplies and housekeeping products.Ensure all laundry and housekeeping equipment are properly maintained and serviced.Implement and enforce cleanliness and sanitation protocols.Prepare various reports.Oversee billing of residents at the community.Oversee the management of the department work order system, create or assign work orders and dispatch necessary personnel / vendors to emergency calls.Develops written policies and procedures related to departmental operation and safety.Creates and maintains department tracking tools.Ensure prompt resolution of any issues.Other duties as assigned.✅ What You’ll Need :
3 years of Environmental Services experience, required.1 year direct Managerial experience, required.Ability to type and use general office equipment, required.Computer experience, required.Knowledge of the appropriate skills for communicating with individuals of all ages, especially the geriatric population, required.The above is a summary of the position, it in no way states or implies that these are the only duties this position will be required to perform.
