Location :

• Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, DC.
Schedule :
• Mon-Fri.
• 7 : 30 AM - 4 : 00 PM.

Pay Rate :

• $40 - $44 per hour (Based on location and experience).

Requirements

Performs all Nuclear Medicine imaging, uptake and dilution studies; assists with PET / CT imaging to provide quality diagnostic exams while providing a high level of patient care; prepares radiopharmaceutical kits and patient doses; complies with State regulations regarding handling of radioactive materials; schedules all exams to ensure exam appropriateness and provides communication to families and physicians; coordinates daily patient flow.

Produces and evaluates images to assist the radiologist with timely interpretation of imaging exams and patients for treatment and plan of care for patients

• Adheres to image specific policies in regards to patient safety that are established by the Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital regulatory, and accreditation governing bodies
• Maintains required levels of education that pertain to clinical, family, and patient centered care
• Complies with State of Florida regulations regarding receipt, handling, disposal and administration of radioactive materials
• Demonstrates knowledge of various Nuclear Medicine equipment as well as PACs and RIS computer skills

Qualifications

Minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent is required

• Completion of an AMA accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program is required
• 2 years' experience in Nuclear Medicine is highly preferred
• ARRT or NMTCB is requred
• Maryland License is required
• BLS CPR is required
