About the Role

Were seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Dyslexia Teacher to join a supportive district team in Keller, TX . This full-time, on-site position focuses on providing structured literacy instruction to students identified with dyslexia and related reading challenges. The ideal candidate is passionate about evidence-based literacy interventions and helping every learner grow in confidence and ability.

Key Responsibilities

Provide individualized and small-group instruction using a structured literacy or multisensory approach (e.g., MTA, Orton-Gillingham, Take Flight).

Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with student needs and district guidelines.

Conduct ongoing progress monitoring and maintain accurate documentation.

Collaborate with general education teachers, interventionists, and parents to support literacy development.

Participate in campus and district professional learning related to reading intervention.

Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters degree in Education, Reading, or related field.

Valid Texas Teaching Certificate required.

Training or certification in a recognized dyslexia intervention program (MTA, Take Flight, etc.) strongly preferred.

Experience teaching reading intervention or working with students with dyslexia.

Position Details

Schedule : Full-Time (37.5 hours / week)

Contract : 20252026 School Year

Start Date : August 2025 or sooner
