Shift : Day Shift, 5x8's (Monday - Friday, 7 : 00 AM - 5 : 30 PM)

On-Call Requirement : Nights, Weekends, and Holidays

Holiday and Weekend : As per unit requirement

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our dynamic team for a 13-week contract. In this critical role, you will perform a wide range of complex special procedures in both IR and vascular hybrid interventional settings, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, and age-appropriate patient care.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform all interventional and special procedures exams in accordance with department protocols, utilizing independent judgment and technical expertise.
  • Operate and set up sophisticated imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic studies for diagnosis and treatment.
  • Assist physicians during intricate interventional procedures in both the IR Lab and Hybrid OR.
  • Properly position patients and ensure their safety and comfort throughout procedures.
  • Work autonomously and efficiently, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.

    • Qualifications & Requirements :

  • Licensure / Certification : Must hold one of the following :

    • ARRT-R (Radiography) and ARRT-VI (Vascular Interventional) is highly preferred, OR

  • RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification.
  • Certification : Current AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Experience : Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist or in a similar Cath / IR Lab setting
