The Patient Safety Assistant is responsible for providing direct supervision and companionship to patients as a safety measure to prevent suicidal, behavioral, and medical patients from harming themselves. WHAT YOU WILL DO :

• Must be able to communicate effectively with staff and assigned patient.
• Must demonstrate calm, pleasant demeanor WHAT YOU WILL NEED : High School Diploma or G.E.D. CNA Certification REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS :
• PREFERRED CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT, PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN, OR RELATED HEALTHCARE EXPERIENCE
• BLS
• CPI
• Minimum 1 year acute hospital / healthcare setting experience.
• Must be able to complete training module prior to first assignment.
