Purpose Statement :
Recovery in Motion is a dedicated team of motivated individuals who work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide effective substance use disorder treatment services.

Job Duties and Responsibilities :
Set priorities in monitoring clients, making house rounds, documentation of pertinent information, and completion of other assignmentsRegularly check company emails and the program calendarMaintain current knowledge of program and client activitiesBe available to clients for questions and other assistanceHandle multiple tasks simultaneouslyMaintain up-to-date knowledge of the programs philosophy, policies, and procedures, 245G requirements, program operations, and client rights and confidentialityAssist with completion of intake / admission procedures and orientation of new clientsServe as a positive role model for clientsParticipate in program activities with a positive attitudeAdminister client medications and document accordinglyComplete thorough, objective, and accurate documentationUtilize decision making skills while exhibiting good judgment and realistic understanding of issuesSet healthy boundaries with clients and coworkersComplete program laundryAssist in food preparation and program cleaning dutiesAdhere to the attendance and absence policiesMaintain punctuality in reporting for workParticipate in rotational schedule, related to shifts, weekends, and holidaysProvide transportation to clients for appointments, intake, and dischargeEnsure client safety while providing transportationEnsure company vehicles are cleaned after usageRemain responsible for company credit card and receipts, when applicableRequired Skills and Experience (Minimum Requirements) :
Must be 18 years oldHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalentComplete background studyKnow and understand the implications of Minnesota Statutes, sections 245G.01 through245G.22, 245A.65, 260E, 626.557, and 626.5572 and willingness to understand, learn, and
carry out regulations with integrity
CPR and First Aid certified, or willing to become certified within 30 days of employmentMust have a valid MN drivers licenseProficient working knowledge of Microsoft OfficePhysical ability to perform the responsibilities of the position which include, bending,stooping, sitting, walking, and lifting at least 30 pounds.
Be highly dependable; able to work independentlyAdditional Skills and Experience (Preferred) :
Previous experience in human services and / or healthcare environment as related to positionresponsibilities.
Direct client care experience with chemical dependency treatment and rehabilitation.
