Position Description
The Advanced Academic Programs (AAP) division seeks non-tenure track adjunct faculty to teach in the Digital Communication, Public and Media Relations, Corporate and Non-profit, Health Communication, and Political Communication concentrations. The instructor will teach online or on campus at Hopkins Bloomberg Center, located at 555 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington, DC. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience teaching and engaging students from diverse backgrounds.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications : A Master’s degree in Communication or in a relevant field (e.g., Journalism and Media Studies); professional and / or scholarly experience in Communication; one year of college-level teaching experience.
Preferred Qualifications : A Ph.D. or terminal degree in Communication or in a relevant field, such as Journalism and Media Studies; ability to teach a wide variety of courses in Communication; ability to teach both on campus and online courses.
