Endocrinology Physician

Endocrinologist needed in Roswell, New Mexico - Located 200 miles from Albuquerque, NM; 180 miles from Las Cruces, NM Position Details :

• Full-time, permanent position
• Requirements : - Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) Degree - Internal Medicine Residency and Endocrinology Fellowship - New Mexico license to practice medicine
• Examine, diagnose, and provide comprehensive medical treatment for patients with hormonal imbalances, thyroid conditions, osteoporosis, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, and other endocrine disorders.
• Counsel patients on endocrinology disorders and their background.
• Order tests and interpret the results of imaging studies.
• Prescribe and / or administer treatment and medication.
• Monitor the behavioral and cognitive side effects of treatment and medication.
• Order supportive care services for patients.
• Liaise with medical professionals in the community and hospitals.
• Keep up-to-date with endocrinology developments, treatment, and medication.
• Perform other duties as assigned in accordance with specialty and / or position. Benefits :
