Director of Fraud Analytics

A company is looking for a Director of Fraud Strategy & Analytics to lead the design and execution of its credit card fraud defense strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Own the Fraud P&L and develop a comprehensive fraud strategy to minimize financial losses while enhancing customer experience

Lead and mentor a team of fraud analysts, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and proactive risk mitigation

Architect fraud defenses across the customer lifecycle, optimizing strategies for various fraud types in response to evolving threats

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience in a highly analytical risk or credit management role

3+ years of people management experience, leading and coaching analytical teams

Experience in fraud strategy and analytics within credit cards, payments, or consumer financial services

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or a similar quantitative field

Deep subject matter expertise in fraud types such as Application & Identity Fraud, Account Takeover, Payment Fraud, or Transaction Fraud
