Product Safety Engineer

Your Tasks

• Determine project scope, develop investigation plans, and define project specifications (cost, time, sample requirements) by analyzing client input and product construction.
• Perform and oversee product assessments and component evaluations at client or TUV SUD sites, ensuring compliance with applicable standards (e.g., EN / IEC / UL 62368, 61010, 60335).
• Conduct technical file reviews, document findings, and prepare client reports in a timely manner.
• Review product design, engineering, and manufacturing processes, documenting any deficiencies.
• Act as the principal intermediary between clients and operating areas throughout project lifecycles.
• Communicate technical issues and project progress with clients and internal teams.
• Lead meetings with clients to discuss project updates and test-specific issues.
• Innovate and develop new testing techniques and procedures as needed.
