Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for clients, fostering a welcoming environment for individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Deliver individualized outpatient therapy for clients and families, guiding them on their unique healing journeys.
  • Create comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, and wellness plans to support clients in maintaining stable functioning.
  • Participate actively in case consultations and agency meetings to enhance client care.
  • Ensure timely completion of documentation, billing, and treatment plans, adhering to professional standards.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and dietitians, to provide holistic care.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or related field.
  • Experience working with children and families.
  • Provisional license as per state regulations, if required.
  • Strong desire to provide high-quality mental health care with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Dedication to ethical practice and confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the capability to build rapport with clients and families.
  • Proficient in time management and capable of completing documentation efficiently.
