Job Description Job Description Job Title : New Graduate Dental Assistant Location : Various Locations Hours Per Week : 40 Schedule : Days Signing Bonus : Up to $10,000 SUMMARY As a Dental Assistant, your ability to anticipate needs, maintain a sterile office environment and keep accurate records greatly contributes to the success of the dentist and the satisfaction of the patient. RESPONSIBILITIES Dental Assistance. Prepare dental supplies necessary for each patient; anticipate dentist needs for instrumentation and materials during the procedural treatment on the patient; assist with x-rays, fillings and positioning suction tubes Sterilization & Maintenance. Clean and sterilize all dental instruments following proper procedures Documentation & Coordination. Maintain all patient records and update as necessary REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS At least one (1) year experience as a Dental Assistant preferred Basic computer and keyboarding skills Ability to anticipate needs and multitask with excellent customer service Exceptional attention to detail and cleanliness WE'RE HERE FOR YOU : Our Benefits | Rochester Regional Health Careers EDUCATION : LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS : PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and / or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting. PAY RANGE : $18.10 - $20.00 CITY : Rochester POSTAL CODE : 14617 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
