Position Description

This position will support the ongoing growth of the organization and collaborate with our professional staff to serve our clients. The Accounting Manager will coordinate with the CFO and Financial Controller and is required to undertake all aspects of company accounting systems, including regulatory and financial reporting, project costing, reporting and invoicing and monthly financial statements.

The ideal candidate is well organized, resourceful, innovative, and pays great attention to detail. The right person is motivated, a quick learner, works with minimal supervision, has a great attitude, and is skilled in follow-through to complete tasks. The position requires strong multitasking skills and successful collaboration with many different personnel, including working directly with technical staff across the country.

This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.

Location : St. Paul, Minnesota, or Hood River, Oregon

Work Schedule

This is a Monday-Friday, in office position. A remote or hybrid work schedule is not desired for this position. This role requires occasional over-time work and may require up to 10% travel to Inter-Fluve offices across the US.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and / or finance.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or similar equivalent degree.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Candidate should be highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Candidate will anticipate project needs and identify work assignments independently.
• Successful candidate will be proactive, self-motivated and able to excel at working with local and virtual teams.
• Car and valid driver's license.
• This position may require lifting and / or moving of equipment and / or supplies weighing up to 40lbs.

Our target salary is $80K – $100K, dependent on experience. Relocation assistance may be offered to support the candidate moving to the Hood River, OR, or St. Paul, MN area.
