Maintenance Technician

Perceptive Recruiting is representing a Maintenance Technician opportunity in Columbia, SC. In this role you ll support a cutting-edge manufacturing plant; ensuring production equipment stays reliable and efficient through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. You ll work with a variety of modern machinery including multi-axis and Swiss CNC systems helping minimize downtime and keep operations running at peak performance.

Role

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machines, including multi-axis and Swiss CNC equipment
• Diagnose issues, replace parts, and make machining adjustments to keep equipment operating efficiently
• Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems
• Maintain organized maintenance records and communicate findings to supervisors
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve productivity
• Follow strict safety and 5S standards to keep work areas clean and compliant
