Administrative Assistant - Parking Logistics
Major accountabilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Prepare, execute, supervise & report purchases of equipment, supplies and / or services for the Campus Logistics Department.
Process parking permits in accordance with Campus Logistics Department procedures and respond professionally to inquiries / requests from telephone, web / internet, email, or walk-in sources.
Manage and maintain the Campus Operations and Campus Logistics Divisions planning, operations, & personnel calendar on a daily basis to ensure that schedules are up-to-date.
Prepare and post financial and statistical reports using enterprise accounting & application software
Maintain an organized filing system of department records and other correspondence on a daily basis to ensure that information is disseminated and easily retrievable.
Oversee the daily office functions of the department and assist with staff training.

Education and / or Experience
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and / or training in a financial institution or banking industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, procedure manuals, balance, and reconcile spreadsheets. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Accountings experience a must.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and an intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Power Point.
Other Skills and Abilities
Prioritize and plan work activities, use time efficiently, maintain confidentiality and perform under minimal supervision.
