Guitar Sales & Customer Experience Specialist

Vera Guitars — Charlotte's premier independent guitar store and a Top 100 NAMM Dealer — is looking for a Customer Experience & Gear Specialist to join our in-store team.

If you're passionate about guitars, gear, and helping others find their perfect sound, this role is for you. You'll work hands-on with premium instruments and help customers experience the very best in music retail.

This is a full-time, in-store position offering competitive pay, growth opportunities, and a friendly, music-driven environment where your expertise matters.

About the Role

Provide personalized gear recommendations and in-store sales support
Deliver top-notch customer service in person, by phone, and online
Perform basic guitar maintenance (restringing, tuning, cleaning — training provided)
Assist with inventory, merchandising, and showroom upkeep
Support special events and community outreach initiatives

What we are looking for

Strong working knowledge of guitars, pedals, and amps

Retail or customer service experience preferred

Positive, professional, and reliable communication style

Team-oriented mindset and passion for helping musicians

Eagerness to learn, grow, and take initiative
