LMR Technical Group (LMR) is seeking a Warehouse Manager to join our team.

Job Description :
The Warehouse Manager will lead warehousing and property accountability operations in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division (NSWC PCD). The Warehouse Manager will oversee the receipt, storage, distribution, accountability, and disposition of government property and materials, ensuring strict compliance with Navy policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Manage day-to-day operations of Navy warehousing activities, including materiel receipt, inspection, storage, issue, kitting, packaging, and disposition in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
- Lead a team of warehouse personnel and ensure compliance with Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (NERP) and Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) business rules for material management, including goods receipt, goods issue, transfer postings, and inventory documentation.
- Oversee the safe and efficient operation of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and ensure all personnel are trained, licensed, and certified in compliance with OSHA and Navy standards.
- Maintain 100% accountability and traceability of all materials through accurate data entry, recordkeeping, and reporting in Navy ERP systems.
- Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations to meet government standards for Care of Supplies in Storage (COSIS), shelf-life management, preservation, packaging, packing, and marking (PPP&M).
- Manage cost, schedule, and performance metrics to optimize warehouse efficiency, reduce risks, and meet program objectives.
- Serve as the primary liaison with government representatives, contractors, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and timely resolution of warehousing issues.
- Support audits, inspections, and inventory reconciliations; identify and mitigate operational risks to maintain compliance with Navy regulations and federal acquisition requirements.
- Ensure adherence to safety, security, and risk management policies; maintain an orderly and hazard-free warehouse environment.
- May require occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. and operation of warehouse equipment.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications :
Ability to obtain a Tier 1 National Agency Check (NAC) and obtain CAC / base access credentials.Active forklift / MHE certification.More than 3 years of experience managing warehousing operations within the Department of War and preferably Department of the Navy.Experience with Department of the Navy systems and their associated warehousing needs, ensuring efficient and compliant operations.Experience communicating effectively with various stakeholders.Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train and motivate personnel to achieve high levels of productivity and compliance.Experience managing cost, schedule, and performance metrics to optimize warehouse efficiency and meet program objectives.Manage and motivate warehouse teams, ensuring high levels of productivity and adherence to safety standards.Knowledgeable in risk management policies and assessment methodologies, identifying and mitigating potential risks to warehouse operations.Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.Must be a U.S. citizen.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience working in a federal contracting environment supporting Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) or similar agencies.Familiarity with NAVSUP P-529, Warehouse Modernization and Layout Planning Guide, and other Navy warehousing standards.Prior experience supporting Physical Inventory Plans / Location Audit Plans (LAP) in a Navy warehouse setting.This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required by this position.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
