Responsibilities
Serve as the go-to technical resource for technicians and customers, supporting diagnostics, project coordination, and SOP development.Own the details by designing workflows, creating templates, and setting repair standards to elevate service quality across field teams.Solve technical problems and support diagnostics; influence how generator and engine service is delivered with precision.Improve how we plan, quote, and complete jobs; reduce inefficiencies, increase profitability, and create repeatable excellence.Mentor technicians and admin staff; host internal training and provide ongoing guidance.Operate with autonomy, with room to innovate while backed by a team that values insights.Qualifications
5+ years as a Generator or Diesel Technician (or similar field-based technical role).Strong understanding of engines, power generation systems, and controls.Ability to troubleshoot, document, and guide others through complex repair scenarios.Familiarity with project planning, job costing, and repair order management.High proficiency in MS Office and technical documentation.Factory certifications (Kohler, MTU, etc.) are a plus but not required.Benefits
