POSITION SUMMARY
To support efforts associated with the ACC Counterdrug program. These tasks involve services to meet ACC's specialized CD engineering, technical, and management requirements, including troubleshooting, repairing, optimizing, sustaining, deploying, setting up, operating, and redeploying government-owned counterdrug (CD) surveillance and communications systems at various CONUS & OCONUS locations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support tasks such as CD / CNT operational and logistics support, analyzing and optimizing CD / CNT system performance, sustainment support, configuration management, radar data quality monitoring, and intelligence analysis.
- Provide hands-on depot-level support for CD D&M systems (PN radars; TPS-70, -75, -78 radars; SATCOM; ancillary systems; and radar data networking systems).
- Assist in program management, development, and defining CD requirements.
- Conduct D&M and communications studies and analyses.
- Provide technical, engineering, management, and sustainment engineering support for CD systems.
- Apply systems engineering principles to support D&M operational requirements.
- Evaluate, recommend, and optimize sensor operational performance.
- Provide training to US and PN personnel, including planning and executing SMEEs.
- Assist with developing procedures, plans, and documentation for testing and configuration management.
- Support the deployment and employment of CD systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance for sustaining the ACC CD Satellite Communications (SATCOM) network.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
At least 10 years of recent hands-on technical experience with air surveillance sensors and communications systems in the CD mission environment.Experience managing CD surveillance, command and control, and communications programs, including AF / MAJCOM coordination, staff processing, acquisition, requirements development, and validation.Experience working with CCMDs, MAJCOM, SPOs, and US Embassy staff.Secret clearance required from the start of the contract.Bachelor's degree in a management or technical field.Fluency in technical and conversational Spanish (DLPT Level 2+) and ability to translate between English and Spanish.Ability to pass CPR certification.BENEFITS

Work primarily in a busy office environment with potential for travel to austere locations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, or 100 lbs with support. Some weekend work may be required based on travel and mission needs.
