Arizona ICU Nurse Job Details

Location : Sun City West, AZ 85375 (Phoenix metro area)

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 24 / 2025 – End : 2 / 23 / 2026)

Healthcare Setting : Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Nursing Shift : 12-hour day shifts (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 30 PM)

Hours per Week : 36

Guaranteed Hours : 24 per week

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1880 - $2020

On-Call : Schedule determined by facility

Weekend Schedule : To be determined by facility

Employment Type : Travel RN, W2

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience required

Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license

Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA)

No license hits or disciplinary actions

Travel nursing experience preferred

Flu vaccination required (declinations considered with documentation)

AZ home address on driver's license not eligible

Must meet facility-specific background check requirements

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the ICU

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Administer medications, treatments, and advanced life support interventions

Educate patients and families on care plans and ICU procedures

Maintain accurate and timely documentation per hospital policies

Comply with all safety, infection control, and healthcare compliance standards
