Job descriptionRead / Interpret electrical and mechanical assembly fabrication drawings Work independently and follow a schedule Participate in shop cleanup activities Communicate with Shop Leads regarding quality and production schedules Assist coworkers with other tasks as assigned Operate within the requirements of an ISO 9001 Quality System Work with Quality, Environmental, H&S employees to ensure and maintain compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards of Ability to understand assembly prints Mechanical aptitude; excel at the physical assembly of parts Experience in production line assembly and fine manipulation of components and wiring Advanced knowledge and working experience of handheld power tools / drills up to highest torque 65 in-lbs Includes an additional shift pay differential Medical / Dental / Vision / HRA / Annuity - 6 months from date of hire Vacation Time - will begin effective June 30th, after 6 months of continuous employment Sick Time - will begin accruing from day one Mandatory Union Dues - $7 / week, $28 / month Mandatory One-Time $182 Union Application Fee 12 Paid Holidays
Job Description
Job Summary : The assembler position works on the electrical and mechanical assembly and final integration of products. This position is for an experienced individual with 1year minimum experience building assemblies and sub-assemblies and wiring of components.

Hours : This job requires occasional overtime, which may change to meet our business's needs.
Second Shift : Monday-Friday, 3 : 30 p.m. through 12 : 00 a.m.
BREAK / LUNCH : 30 minutes lunch, plus two 15 minute breaks, to be determined by manager
UNION : IBEW Local Union 3
