Job Title : Flux Core Welder

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Core Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating custom parts, primarily pressure vessels used in shipyards or the boating industry. This role requires proficiency in Mig and Flux Core welding techniques, with a strong understanding of blueprint reading and jig work.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate custom parts for pressure vessels.
• Read and interpret blueprints with at least 1-2 years of experience.
• Utilize Mig and Flux Core welding techniques effectively.
• Perform cutting of parts and metals as required.
• Pass a weld test to ensure high-quality standards.
• Prepare and organize work independently in a small machine shop environment.

Work Environment

The position operates on the 1st Shift, Monday through Thursday, from 6 AM to 4 : 30 PM. Overtime is available on Fridays when required. The work environment is a small machine shop where safety is a priority; steel-toed boots and safety glasses are mandatory.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of GREENCASTLE, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00 / hr.
