Job descriptionPlanning of value stream-oriented process flows, taking lean thinking into account. Initiating and controlling improvement projects, e.g. Proma, and product maturity projects. Controlling regular project communication and cross-project controlling. Support in the evaluation of CIP projects and involvement in optimization workshops. Planning and coordinating internal and production relocations between sites and ensuring that targets are achieved. Defining permanent interface optimization and the corresponding processes for projects Professional and disciplinary management of employees and personnel planning in the area of responsibility. Further development of the work preparation tasks : Time management, specification of process data, and feeding actual data back into calculations. Preparation of the personnel requirement plan and coordination with line managers. Monitoring approved investments within the area of responsibility. Implementing and further developing Lean Methods and tools in the area of responsibility. Involvement in the permanent optimization of the project management system and the work preparation in the group of companies and coordination with the process owner. Access to all relevant information necessary to perform the tasks Control and prioritization of the department’s tasks Effective customer communication of milestones and readiness Access to all related IT-systems and KPI. Authorization to sign contracts and purchase orders within the given rules. Responsibility for change management. Responsibility for the disciplinary and specialist management of subordinates, including their qualifications. Responsible for the development and achievement of key performance indicators within the area of responsibility. Duty to inform business segment management and executive management. Cost center responsibility. Responsible for achieving corporate objectives in the assigned area of responsibility. Handover of project upon successful customer release process / PPAP to Industrial Project Engineer (IPE) Work area by using the office environment (computer etc.). Visits out to the shop floor (loud, hot, dirty) Proven management skills and the ability to lead a dynamic team structure. Proficiency in various software applications (MS Office; SAP). At a minimum, fluency in English language with excellent reading and writing capabilities. Critical thinking abilities. Several years of experience in a similar position, ideally within an international company. Prefer automotive background. Excellent experience in Project Management. Excellent command of the required SAP applications and recognizes potential areas for improvement. Keenly aware of the relevant regulations of the USA required automotive industry standards and can apply these accordingly. High self-motivation and self-confidence. Ability for analytical and technical thinking. Excellent organizational skills Being authentic and having a hands-on mentality. Capacity for cooperation and critical thinking. Ability to lead negotiations and manage meetings. Flexibility to quickly adapt to new situations. Team player, reliable, keeping the commitments. Ability to work under pressure, having the right sense of responsibility. Willingness to travel frequently. Excellent communication skills and the proven ability to lead a dynamic team to meet the goals of the company.
